All about Flowers

These are all the flowers shot taken randomly. Most of it were taken in the Chiangmai 700 years sports complex, the Tulip Exhibitions while the rest were taken up hill or in the woods. Enjoy!

Situated only 2 minutes walk north from the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar and sitting beside the Ping River the Warorot Market is a busy hive of daytime activity. Warorot Market opens daily early in the morning and closes after dark. Go by foot, pedicab, Tuk-Tuk or Songtheaw as it is nearly impossible to get a park there unless you have a motor bike.

Warorot Market is one of the places where lots of Thai locals do their own shopping, so expect to find the same or similar goods that you see at other Markets also sold here but cheaper and usually of better quality. You will also find a lot of goods here that you will not find in the tourist Markets like the Night Bazaar.

Mae Sa Waterfall

Mae Sa Waterfall
Chiang Mai

Mae Sa Waterfall is another ‘iconic’ image of Chiang Mai, although it is somewhat less famous than some other sites. The waterfall has 8 tiers and set against a backdrop of huge trees it is very impressive. The climate around the waterfall is cool throughout the year and it is a very popular meeting place for locals. For foreigners, the trip is often combined with a visit to the Mae Sa Elephant Training Centre.

How to get there: Mae Sa Waterfall is about 25 kilometers north of Chiang Mai on the Mae Rim-Samoeng Road. A number Songtaews are available from the city to the waterfall.
